EUGC Membership

THERE ARE TWO THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR HEAD DOWN -

PLAY GOLF AND PRAY.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the Golf Club of the European Communities is open to all staff of the European Institutions, their spouses and families.

For legal reasons all members must have a European federal golf card from a European golf club which provides each member with insurance and an official handicap.

If you already have a federal card you can join our club straight away.

If not you must follow a beginners course in a golf club and obtain what in Belgium is called a 'brevet'.

From then on you are free to join us.Y ou can obtain a brevet from any federal Belgian golf club.

Once you have a brevet you will have an official handicap.

If you are unsure about becoming a full member of a golf club, you can avail of a practice membership of the Belgian golf club Pierpont and the EUGC.

This will give you your all important federal card, official handicap and allow you to play golf with us.

If you are still unsure if you would like to play golf or you are a complete beginner, Pierpont offers 4 times a one hour initiation lesson.

Arrangements will be made by Pierpont. Please quote our club and they will help you.
