1. Emilio, Teresa and Deborah, you won this year’s *Asterisk*-series! It is the longest series of tournaments of the EU-Golfclub, starting in April and ending in September, with 18 events! What motivated you to take part in this competition?
Emilio: What I like about the Asterisk competition is that it's an annual championship, a league that lasts an entire season. It's not always the best who wins, but often the most consistent.
Teresa: The good weather really starts in April, and after a long winter with less frequent golf, I always look forward to playing in good weather. There are more competitions at the EU golf club during this period and if I'm available, I'll be happy to play.
Deborah: I simply play the courses that I particularly like and, when possible, those which I have never tried before.

2. Since there are not two tournaments of the *Asterisk*-series which are played on the same course, how did you manage to adapt your golf game to all the different courses?
Emilio: Playing different golf courses helps to smooth out the "faults", short game, putting, bunkers, etc. One course can be difficult because of its length, another because of its numerous bunkers, another because of the obstacles, ... At the end of the season, all this adds up to a reasonable average.
Teresa: One of the reasons that motivates me to belong to this club is that it plays on many golf courses, which obliges the player to adapt their game; it’s fun and it makes you a more complete player.
Deborah: I’m not good enough to have that sort of plan in mind! How it worked out on any given the day was due to favourable conditions (very wide, firm fairways; minimal rough; not too much forest), being on great form on the day, and a sprinkling of luck!

3. You will probably be in the race for winning also next season, but what would be your advice to the other competitors to catch up with you to the top of the leaderboard and are there any suggestions from your side to modify the *Asterisk*-series?
Emilio: The only valid advice for all golfers is: practice. Be positive, even on a bad day you probably made some very good golf shots!
Teresa: Playing well for a season doesn't mean playing well all the time - we know how golf works! When the Asterisk season started, I just kept playing to see if I could get a few good results. The great thing about the Asterisk competition is that the best five results from all the tournaments count, so you can have a few bad days and still find yourself among the winners.
Deborah: That’s very flattering but unlikely! My philosophy is just to enjoy the course, the company and the challenge.
Deboarh, Category 3 winner - Hcp 29,7
